What is YouTube Automation?

YouTube automation refers to the use of various tools, strategies, and processes to efficiently manage and grow a YouTube channel with minimal manual effort. The aim is to streamline the creation, optimization, and promotion of content, often with the goal of generating revenue and maximizing viewer engagement.

YouTube Automation is easy but you need to keep some things in mind before starting it.

Here are some key aspects of YouTube automation:

YouTube Automation Essentials

  • Minimum time required: 3 months.
  • Minimum videos required: 40 per channel
  • Minimum Investment required: 0 if you are editor yourself.
  • Video length: 3+ minutes
  • Language: English (Never work on Hindi or Urdu unless you are doing a face cam videos).
  • Audience: The whole world. I never recommend Urdu or Hindi because of simple statistics.
  • Earning sources: AdSense, Drop shipping, Affiliate Marketing, Website traffic (not recommended).

Earnings Potential:

  • Hindi/Urdu: $200 to $500 per million views
  • English: $1,000 to $10,000 per million views, depending on niche (generally $1,000 is a lower limit).

Step-by-Step Process

Step 1 : Select niche

The most important part is selecting the niche. YouTube is as big as this world. You can post anything but for quick success, some niches are important.

Viral Niches:

  • History
  • Discoveries
  • Crypto
  • Personal Development
  • Movies (always trending)
  • Celebrities (always trending)
  • Video commentary (viral but not recommended)
  • Memes (Ultra pro viral)

Highest paying niches:

  • Health
  • Finance
  • Online money making
  • Shopify

There are hundreds of others. Always choose what you find it easy to do. I am compiling full list according to virality. Will share it soon.

Always choose a niche where you can make at least 30 to 40 videos.

Tip: Choose a niche where you can produce 30-40 videos. Avoid mixing niches on the same channel.

Step 2: Script

  • Script Writing: Use AI tools or hire writers.  Before it used to cost 3000 to 5000 per script but after chat-GPT. It’s free. YouTube has no plagiarism issues but copy paste will hurt you in long run.
  • Pro Tip: Use spoken style. Do not copy paste from websites. It is not written for listening. It is written for reading. Written and spoken styles have differences.

Step 3: Voice Over

  • Options: Human voice (costs $200 to $500 per minute) or AI voice (free).
  • Myth: YouTube does not discriminate against AI voices; Google itself is advancing in AI technology.

Step 4: Video Editing

  • Quality: Hire experienced editors; avoid hiring freshers.
  • Sources: Purchase stock videos from platforms like Story blocks, Canvas Pro, etc.
  • Best Practices:
    • Limit usage of any video to 3-5 seconds.
    • Avoid using the same image twice or keeping an image on screen for more than 3 seconds.
    • Use zoom effects on images.
    • Name video files with main keywords (e.g., “mysterious-hidden-object-found.mp4”).
    • Avoid negative keywords in file names.

Step 5: Thumbnail

  • Importance: Crucial for attracting viewers. A compelling thumbnail acts as a magnet for clicks.
  • Investment: Thumbnails can cost $5 to $50 on Fiverr.
  • Pro Tip: Test and update thumbnails until they achieve high click-through rates (CTR).

Step 6: Title, Tags, Description

  • SEO: Focus on keywords to optimize for search.
  • Pro Tip: Analyze top videos in your niche using tools like VidIQ to determine effective keywords.

Additional Tips

  • Video Retention: Aim for 70% or higher retention in your first 10 videos. Shorter videos (3 minutes) may help.
  • Adjustments: Continuously modify titles and tags if videos aren’t performing well.
  • Posting Time: Aim to post between 12am to 5am (US time) for optimal reach.

This guide should provide a solid foundation for starting a YouTube automation channel.
